God Bless Everyone

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2 (NIV)

Cergie and I get together once a week to talk and watch movies. This last Saturday she was just so excited to see me and said “I have something to tell you.” I smiled knowing that she was very eager to tell me something of great importance.

“Yesterday morning,” started Cergie “someone brought donuts to work.” Cergie works at a medical insurance company call center and her job is to resolve whatever issues that may arise with that companies clients. It may be something as simple as finding the location of the doctor’s office to the “Why am I being charged for something I didn’t have done?”

“Then,” continued Cergie with great excitement “It was payday but that’s not all.”

Cergie paused for a dramatic moment and said “We got pizza for lunch!”

I chuckled lightly and remarked “That’s great.”

“But that’s not the best part,” continued Cergie.

With a restrained chuckle I remarked “oh?”

“My boss asked me to help her resolve some past issues meaning I did not have to be on the phone all day,” added Cergie joyfully.

It was at this point that I realized this was to be my next blog.

Genesis 12:2-3 (NIV)

“I will make you into a great nation,
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.”

Here God is talking to Abram and how Abram will receive God’s blessings and it is through Abram that we receive our blessings as well. Of course you do get those blessings when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior but when you do you will be blessed. So in short every Christian that has found God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior will be blessed.

When we wake up in the morning we are blessed that God has given us another day of life. When we have food to eat and water to drink we are blessed. God blesses us with so many blessings and some of those are things that we take for granted. Just remember to say “Thank you” to our Heavenly Father God Almighty for all His blessings we have received and for all the people around us that have received God’s blessings as well.

With great jubilee Cergie exclaimed “Best day ever!! Thank you Jesus!!”

That’s my Cergie

God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21 (KJV)
