2 Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2 (NIV)
Jesus Curses the Fig Tree
18 In the morning, when he returned to the city, he was hungry. 19 And seeing a fig tree by the side of the road, he went to it and found nothing at all on it but leaves. Then he said to it, “May no fruit ever come from you again!” And the fig tree withered at once. 20 When the disciples saw it, they were amazed, saying, “How did the fig tree wither at once?” 21 Jesus answered them, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done. 22 Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive.” Matthew 21:18-22 (NRSV)
I pray and I pray earnestly but I know that I often have doubts and if I am worthy of the things that I pray for. I have been a sinner but I have repented my sins and do so daily sometimes often I recite the Lord’s Prayer as many times as well. Sometimes I pray and know that I might be praying a little selfishly sometimes it is what I think I need but in the back of my mind I think our Heavenly Father God Almighty may not answer my prayer…because God knows what I need I just think I know what I need. So a lot of times I talk it over with God and try to figure out what I really need and usually it comes to waiting patiently and put my trust in our Heavenly Father God Almighty to give me the things that I need.
I did have another paragraph done and just finish the blog there but Saturday I read this and thought okay this is my end of the blog scripture.
15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” Mark 16:15-18 (NIV)
Okay now I am done.
God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21 (KJV)
