In Observation…

The 21st century is no different from the previous centuries the only difference is that the 21st century has higher technology. Our guns can kill men, women, and children more effectively. We have drone aircrafts that can eliminate entire families. We have missiles that can be launched 5000 miles away and kill entire cities and regions. Some world leaders are feeling nostalgic and resurrecting the Cold War of the 60’s by pressing their military might at the United States. Somebody needs to tell the Russians that the 60’s box set is only 29.99 now. My girlfriend has a Schizophrenic daughter and one of the comments that runs through the house constantly is “The definition if crazy is doing the same thing over and over again and again expecting different results.” No need in spending millions of rubles or whatever the country currency is to see what would happen. One of the reasons I’m writing on this topic is a bible verse that I had read.

History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new. Ecclesiastes 1:9New Living Translation (NLT)

We have countries that are creating and waving nuclear missiles around like guns. All it takes is one world leader with an itchy trigger finger to start a nuclear war that would start the slow death of humankind. Doesn’t world leaders realize that we can actually inflict nuclear genocide upon ourselves just because a few world leaders want to ruffle their feathers and say “Look what I can do. Fear me.” What we need is wise world leaders that will say “I will help my people” in a time when compassion for the humankind is needed the most.

When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth. Revelation 6:7-8 (NIT)

I saw an article where the United States military is planning to downsize. My thought was…what a waste. The United States military should really rethink itself. It has the capability to help, rescue, and provide medical aid to countries and regions of the world that have been struck by disasters. Rather then mobilizing an army to war why not mobilize an army to rescue and aid on a world wide scale. Actually be the good guys and go help people….everywhere. Make it a mission…go save the world.

God Bless the people in this world and save us from our world leaders who know not what they do.
