2 Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2 (NIV)
I just started reading the book of Revelation…for the umpteenth time. Fortunately I have help now for the Christian faith blogging so I only blog every 3 weeks instead of the weekly blogging I had done in the past which means I will have plenty of time to figure out what to blog about from the book of Revelation…if I can. Many thanks to Hediru and Highlander for their assistance.
So I read this last month:
16 We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.
God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. 17 And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.
18 Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. 1 John 4:16-1 (NLT)
To me love is one of the key characteristics of the Christian faith and for any Christian it contains patience, strength, comfort, forgiveness, and compassion to name a few but most of all…it comes from God.
8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8 (NIV)
8 Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8 (NRSV)
Such great wisdom that the Christian body would do well to remember…to love.
God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21 (KJV)
