What I liked About the Book of Exodus

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2 (NIV)

I am presently reading the book of Leviticus but I want to take a moment to reflect back on a moment in the book of Exodus. I started reading the bible from beginning to end because I wanted to know God that I would find the wisdom I needed to do for our Heavenly Father God Almighty and be able to do the things that God wants us to do. It is probably just me but I find it encouraging and hopeful to be reminded of the love our Heavenly Father God Almighty has for us and for all the people of this world.

The Lord passed before him, and proclaimed,

“The Lord, the Lord,
a God merciful and gracious,
slow to anger,
and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness,
keeping steadfast love for the thousandth generation,
forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin,
yet by no means clearing the guilty,
but visiting the iniquity of the parents
upon the children
and the children’s children,
to the third and the fourth generation.”

Exodus 34:6-7 (NRSV)

To me this is probably one of the most important verses in the Old Testament. Here in the above scripture our Heavenly Father God Almighty describes Himself to Moses. This is pretty much everything you need to know about God. There are a few other things about God and His wisdom spread throughout the bible things like God loves us and that God loves us and that God loves everyone and that God is merciful and full of grace and that God sent His only son Jesus Christ our lord and Savior to save us…did I mention that God loves us?

God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21 (KJV)
