Trust in God

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2 (NIV)

Last week I blogged on Psalm 91 which explained that God will watch over us and protect us from all things including diseases it was my way of reassuring everyone that God will protect us from all things and the CoVid-19.  However during the course of the week I noticed something interesting. Many people were panicked and bought so much groceries items that they thought is essential to their life.

10 do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10 (NRSV)

Here in the above scripture Isaiah tells us that we have nothing to fear because God will always be there for us and that is what is driving most people behavior in the past 2 weeks. Many people have decidedly hoarded as much as they could make sure their family has everything they need. A perfectly normal reaction but we Christians need to remind ourselves that God will watch over us and our families.

10 And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:10 English Standard Version (ESV)

That something interesting I stated earlier well in my travel through the grocery store I noticed that Christians are very calm and take things in stride more so than those that are not Christian because we Christians put our faith and our trust in God.

God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21 (KJV)
