Walk Towards God

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2 (NIV)

Recently I saw a video of a minister giving some kind of speech or sermon regarding the development of some “New World Order” by the world’s richest people. In short it was a 30 minute video 10 seconds of the Christian faith and 29 minutes 50 seconds of conspiracy theories.

It amazes me that so many people would go follow these speculations or barely logical deductions to the weakly fabricated conclusions and pronounce it “real”.  What amazes me even more so is that a moderate portion of Christians fall into this grouping. I have met and talked with many of fellow Christians that follow many of these conspiracy theories I am not sure why but they do.

The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. Revelation 1NIV

In the above scripture, which is from the first chapter in the book of Revelation, it explains that and angel was sent down to the world and showed John all the things that will happen and it even says “words of prophecy”. So God already knows what’s going to happen He is just letting us know in advance so we can prepare for it…okay that makes sense.

25 The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe. Proverbs 29:25 ESV

This is what I like about the above scripture “but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe” don’t trust fear but trust in God. All through the bible God tells everyone what is going to happen or what they should do and God even tells us if you will or will not win a battle. We should not walk towards the conspiracy theories and those things that create fear but towards God. We should not walk away from God and towards fear but walk towards God and away from fear.

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2 ESV

God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21 (KJV)
