Priority One

Hi all. It’s Pastor Heather, again. So very sorry to have been so far away for so long. But, in case you hadn’t noticed, there’s a big, evil, virus out there that is messing with people’s lives.

A few weeks ago, my husband, Pastor Sean, finally made good on his promise to build me a gaming tower. I am by no means a hard core gamer like many of you are, but my little laptop (which was my only computer) just wasn’t cutting it. Suddenly now, I can have more than just two games installed! I’ve been told that I can download dozens and still have room!

One new game that has really sucked me in is Final Fantasy XIV. I’ve always been a lover of fantasy and games with a good story, and this fits both bills. This game has been a welcome escape from all of the craziness in life!

But one thing I’ve realized is that I spend more time on that game than I do with the Lord, which is not healthy for any Christian, much less a pastor. It’s also the reason this blog wasn’t posted before midnight. But as I lie here, writing this on my phone because I don’t want to get out of bed yet, I vow to change that. Jesus is my priority today. He should be everyday, but we just take one day at a time.

What about you? Who is first in your life? Take steps to make Jesus #1!
