When We Christians Share

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2 (NIV)

One of the great things in the Christian Gamin Community is that we share the gospel and or scriptures that we have learned with everyone else in the community. The other day I found this in my in-game email on Star Trek Online.

“The  two verses in the bible of Revelation talks to Gods people, and those verses are in Chapter 22.  Note the two verses are 20-21. just something to think about…”

Below are the scriptures my Christian brother is talking about

Revelation 22:20-21

20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.

The Apostle John wrote the book of Revelation which is a prophesy for all Christians of things to come. Below is the definition of “testify according to Merriam-Webster

a : to make a statement based on personal knowledge or belief : bear witness

b : to serve as evidence or proof

a : to make known (a personal conviction)

b : to give evidence of

I recently finished the book of Isaiah and below is a brief summary of that book in the bible.

Isaiah the Prophet is called by God to preach repentance to the Israelites.

The Israelites are a ‘stubborn people’ and refuse to repent.

Isaiah preaches the coming of a future Messiah who will be called Emmanuel.

Ultimately, God’s people will be restored after a period of Judgment.

Hence, both Isaiah and John wrote about the coming of Jesus Christ. Isaiah wrote when Christ Jesus came to earth born from the Virgin Mary (usually celebrated during Christmas) and John wrote about the return of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior in the book of Revelation.  So in humankind’s lifetime Christ Jesus will come to humankind twice and as in the new testament we should repent our sins…

and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior so that we may prepare for the return of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior as foretold in the book of Revelation.

God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21 (KJV)
