Just Say’n

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2 (NIV)

Last week I was reading the book of Lamentations when I realized something or maybe it was just the Holy Spirit hitting me on the head repeatedly.

“You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:4

Keeping in line of thought with the last two blogs that people choose to be evil here in the above scripture Adam and Eve have sinned by eating the fruit of knowledge of good and evil that God told them not to eat. We really do not know what fruit it was because the bible does not tell us if it was an apple or not.

I recently have completed reading the book of Jeremiah and Lamentations and just a couple days ago started reading the book of Ezekiel and read this scripture.

27 But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you shall say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’ Whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse; for they are a rebellious people. Ezekiel 3:27

This scripture has one thing in common in that it holds the same meaning then as it does now.

’ Whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse; for they are a rebellious people. Ezekiel 3:27

Here in this scripture some people will listen to the words and prophecies spoken by Ezekiel but many will not in short many Christians will heed the word of God and follow God’s commandments but there will still be many that will not because they are a rebellious people. Just as Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit of knowledge, many people will become drunk with violence and do evil because they do not follow God’s commandments. Once again let me just say…

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  John 3:16 (NKJV)

God bless all that read this with His love, light, grace, mercy, and wisdom. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21 (KJV)
